N900 Alternatives
Just thinking about what all alternatives does a N900 fan have!
N900 is aging & has those stupid USB Port problems.. Grrr
1. Nokia N950
Note:
This should bring the experience closer to N900
Pros:
Built-in keyboard!!!
Cons:
No infrared port
Only recognized developers would get this device!
Summary:
The USBOTG should help with any incompatibility, as USB is now quite mature & we can have a USB port interfacing with pretty much any technology!! say Infrared, LAN, Blu-Ray Drives, PenDrives etc.
2. Nokia N9
Note:
Looks like N9-00 was prototype and had a keyboard but it may not be sold
What we have is N9-01 which is same as N9 & does not have the keyboard.
Pros:
Cons:
No built-in keyboard :( [cost cutting]
Workaround 01: Use bluetooth keyboard
Workaround 02: Use a USB keyboard, as I think that it supports USBOTG
No SD Card slot :( [cost cutting]
Workaround 01: Use a USB Flash Drive as I think that it supports USBOTG
Workaround 02: Use a USB to SD Slot adapter
